Over 40 volunteers from around the state of New Jersey attended the Future Fisherman Foundation Hooked on Fishing Not on Drugs training seminar held last weekend in Matawan NJ. The group spent 1 ½ days learning the fundamentals of teaching this legendary program to students. The group was also invited to listen to the long range program plans from NJ Division of Fish & Wildlife’s Jim Sciascia who is the Chief of Information and Education for the state. PONCA CITY, OK. (1/15/13) — Cheesequake State Park at 300 Gordon Road in Matawan, N.J. is the location of the next Hooked on Fishing Not on Drugs training seminar announced today by the Future Fisherman Foundation (F3) and the New Jersey Division of Fish & Wildlife.

The workshop dates are Saturday, Feb. 23 and Sunday, Feb. 24. The park is conveniently located off the Garden State Parkway about 35 minutes from Newark Airport. Restaurants and lodging are available in surrounding towns. Read More »

PONCA CITY, OK. (October 25, 2012) — Donnie Keeton of Warsaw, Ky. has accepted an appointment to serve on the Future Fisherman Foundation (F3) Board of Directors.

Mr. Keeton has been involved in The Bass Federation (TBF) for over 20 years, serving as the Kentucky State TBF President for more than 10 years. He also serves as treasurer on the TBF Executive Board of Directors. In addition to his duties as a board member, Mr. Keeton also will become the F3 Board Treasurer. Read More »
